Mike joined TxCDC in 2017 and brings extensive auditing and accounting knowledge to the team. Mike’s education includes an MBA and triple major in Accounting, Finance and Management. With over 18 years of managerial and senior cost accounting experience with multinational publicly traded corporations, underwriting experience with both Fidelity and Surety bonds of American publicly traded corporations and auditing experience for both State of Texas banks, Texas State Agencies and the IRS individual tax forms.

Mike works closely with our servicing department in reviewing borrower tax returns and financials to generate risk ratings for all loans in our portfolio. He also works closely with our BDOs and credit underwriters as a financial analyst during the loan application stage.

Outside the office, Mike enjoys reading publicly traded tax returns and collecting American coins and paper currency from the 1800s and early 1900s.
