Gaskill’s Experience, Knowledge Bring Value to Both TxCDC and Its Clients Texas Certified Development Company (TxCDC) Loan Officer Corey Gaskill has a deep understanding of banking and its role in the success of small business owners. Since moving to Austin to attend graduate school, Gaskill has been actively involved in strengthening his community through his 30-year career in commercial lending as well as his considerable non-profit work. All of these experiences enable Gaskill to help TxCDC work effectively with bankers and small business owners who want to grow their businesses. In his role at TxCDC, Gaskill assists in building relationships with bankers and packaging SBA loans. He also has been instrumental in the operational side of the company through recommending updates to processes, such as using Dropbox to facilitate communications with bankers. TxCDC Recognized as the 504 High Volume CDC in the Lower Rio Grande Valley

Texas Certified Development Company (TxCDC) was recognized as the 504 High Volume CDC in the state’s Lower Rio Grande Valley for 2012 by the Small Business Administration’s Lower Rio Grande Valley District. This honor was announced during the 19th Annual Mid America Lender’s Conference, held in August in Oklahoma City. TxCDC previous received this award in 2007 and 2008. TxCDC has a history of being recognized for helping small business owners in other parts of Texas. The company was honored in 2012 as having the highest volume of 504 loans by a certified development company in Texas’ Coastal Bend region in 2012. TxCDC also received the top producing 504 lender award in the San Antonio area by the Small Business Association’s San Antonio District Office in 2008 and 2009. TxCDC’s Team Reaches Out to Entrepreneurs During National Small Business Week

Texas Certified Development Company (TxCDC) representatives participated in five Central Texas events during National Small Business Week June 17-21. The week is designed to recognize entrepreneurs and small business owners and their positive impact on the economic well-being of the United States. Many events held during the week also were designed to help these entrepreneurs identify resources that will contribute to their success. “Taking part in these activities allowed TxCDC to meet potential clients who are considering building, renovating or expanding their facilities or are considering purchasing major equipment. We were able to share information on SBA 504 loans and help these entrepreneurs learn how SBA 504 loans can benefit their businesses,” said Blyth Rehberg, TxCDC’s loan processing marketing specialist. “These events also deepen our relationship with lenders and create new ties to vendors who one day will need our services too.” Rehberg participated in three events during National Small Business Week, including: OMNIBANK’s Small Business luncheon in Austin; The U.S. Small Business Administration San Antonio District Office/San Antonio SCORE Chapter’s Capital, Contracting and Counseling (CCC) Fair, HUB Zone and Matchmaking Event; and OMNIBANK’s Small Business after-hours event in Cedar Park.
