Texas Certified Development Company (TxCDC) representatives participated in five Central Texas events during National Small Business Week June 17-21. The week is designed to recognize entrepreneurs and small business owners and their positive impact on the economic well-being of the United States. Many events held during the week also were designed to help these entrepreneurs identify resources that will contribute to their success.
“Taking part in these activities allowed TxCDC to meet potential clients who are considering building, renovating or expanding their facilities or are considering purchasing major equipment. We were able to share information on SBA 504 loans and help these entrepreneurs learn how SBA 504 loans can benefit their businesses,” said Blyth Rehberg, TxCDC’s loan processing marketing specialist. “These events also deepen our relationship with lenders and create new ties to vendors who one day will need our services too.”
Rehberg participated in three events during National Small Business Week, including:
- OMNIBANK’s Small Business luncheon in Austin;
- The U.S. Small Business Administration San Antonio District Office/San Antonio SCORE Chapter’s Capital, Contracting and Counseling (CCC) Fair, HUB Zone and Matchmaking Event; and
- OMNIBANK’s Small Business after-hours event in Cedar Park.
Other members of TxCDC’s team were also out and about. TxCDC President Suzanna Caballero took part in OMNIBANK’s Small Business luncheon in Lockhart and Bob Nance, TxCDC’s San Antonio-area consultant, attended OMNIBANK’s after-hours event in San Antonio.
