Additional Small Business Support:
Starting and running a business can be a challenge, but there is help for you in your area. Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) are partnerships primarily between the U.S. government and higher education institutions that are administered by the Small Business Administration. These centers are designed to provide educational support for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs so they can learn how to start a new business or improve and expand an existing small business.
SBDC services include (but are not limited to) assisting small businesses with solving financial, marketing, production, organization, engineering and technical problems and conducting feasibility studies. Most services provided by an SBDC are free and they are confidential. Additional low-cost training options also are available.
